Our Youth Program
Who We Are!
The youth group consists of any youth interested from Middle School and High School. Betsy Muente, Rich Montross, & Sue Gunther have been brainstorming and running events for them. It is planned to try to meet on a scheduled basis, but that is still getting off the ground. Depending on the events they are talking about movie nights, get togethers, park events, bowling, and different things like that. We have already recently had 2 get together / movie / game nights, a lock-in, participated in selling items and baked goods at the Holiday Fair, and this Sunday we are making Heros for "Super-Sub Sunday".
The other part of the youth events are the ones run by the presbytery. Some of the upcoming events are:
- Silver Bay MidWinter Retreat March 16-18 @ Presbyterian Center at Holmes contact Chip Low
- Silver Bay Youth Conference July 8-13 @ Silver Bay YMCA Lake George
- 2007 Youth Triennium July 17-22 @ Purdue University contact Ellie Amend 782-1625 or the website.
- Saint John the Divine "NIGHTWATCH" trip (I don't have any further info on that yet, Just an inquiry a while ago)

2007 Presbyterian Youth Triennium
The 2007 Presbyterian Youth Triennium will be held this year from July 17-22 at Purdue University. Youth ages 15-19 who are interested need to inform session by February 7 for approval. The cost is approximately $900 per youth. If you are interested, or know someone who may be interested, please contact Ellie Amend - 782-1625 as soon as possible. Youth Delegates to the Session
Congratulations to Ryan Costa & Kelsey Gunther, who are representing the Youth of the church on the Session as Youth Delegates this year. They were installed on Sunday, December 31, 2006, by Bob, along with all the other Session Members.
