Sunday School News
The Sunday school children are enjoying their lessons and activities as we begin the new year.
- Pre K recently focused on the birth of Jesus and the announcement that preceeded it made by an Angel of the Lord to some shepherds. They discussed the emotions of the shepherds as they listened to the Angel and then as they witnessed baby Jesus.
- Kindergarten - 1st grade studied the Ten Commandments as rules to live by for the new year. The children framed them and took them home to display in their room. They also explored Baptism.
- 2nd - 3rd grade studied epiphany when God revealed Christ to the wise men. They also learned about Mary and Joseph leaving Egypt to go and live in Nazareth.
- 4th - 7th grade discussed in detail what Baptism means. They also continue to participate in the whole Church service on Communion Sundays.
